uRefer Privacy Policy

We are dedicated to earning your trust and protecting your privacy. In order to achieve this goal uRefer adheres to the following core principles:
  1. We will never share your contact information with another user, without your consent.
  2. We will never share contact information submitted during the introduction process with a Marketer, unless the introduction is accepted.
  3. We will never rent or sell your personally identifiable information to third parties outside the uRefer Network.
  4. Any sensitive information that you provide will be secured with all industry standard protocols and technology.

INFORMATION COLLECTED BY UREFER LLC.
uRefer collects two types of information about users: personal information (such as name and e-mail address) and aggregate information (such as information about how many users access our sites on a daily basis).

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information is collected when users voluntarily opt-in to becoming registered users, receive electronic newsletters, use community and communication services, answer surveys, enter contests and participate in other promotional opportunities provided on uRefer web sites.

REGISTRATION & PROFILE INFORMATION
In order to become a uRefer registered user, you must first create an account on this web site. To create an account you are required to provide the following contact information: name, email address, country, ZIP/postal code, business name and choose a password. Once you are a registered user, you may provide additional information in the My Account Profile section describing your business, referral opportunities and contacts. Providing additional information beyond what is required at registration is entirely optional, but enables you to better utilize the uRefer application and network.

INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR CONTACTS
In order to invite others to participate in uRefer managed Referral Opportunities, you will enter their names and email addresses. This information will be used by uRefer to send your opportunity including a message that you write. The names and email addresses of people that you invite will be used only to send your opportunity and reminders.

You may also choose to manually enter or upload data about your contacts into the private “My Contacts” section of our website. All information entered there will only be viewable by you and will not be searchable by others in the uRefer network without your permission.
All information that you enter or upload about your contacts will be covered by the same terms of this privacy policy as cover your own personally identifiable information.

AGGREGATE INFORMATION
One method of collecting aggregate information about your activities online (such as the pages you access most frequently or the search terms you enter), and information volunteered by you (such as survey or registration information), is by tracking Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you surf the Web. The computers that deliver the Web pages to you automatically identify your computer by its IP address. When you request a page from our site, our servers log (or record) your IP address.
When you visit this site, we automatically record the name of the domain from which you accessed the site and the type of client computer and type of Web browser that you use. If you got to a uRefer Web site by means of a link from another site, our computers will note the fact that you came to us from that linked site.

USE OF INFORMATION COLLECTED BY UREFER LLC.
The information collected by uRefer may be used to send you information about referral opportunities and other related communications. We may also use this information to make offers to you and to help us further develop uRefer Web sites and/or proactively tailor our sites to your interests.

uRefer may share aggregate information with third parties for advertising and promotional purposes. uRefer may also share personal information with consultants and affiliates for internal business purposes and may divulge personal information if such information is subpoenaed, or if uRefer believes that membership has been used to commit unlawful acts, or acts that may endanger the health or safety of another user or of the general public.
